Education
- 2020: graduated from Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine, master's degree in public administration;
- 2016: completed the two-year South Caucasus training program in Field Epidemiology and Laboratory Research, National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, Tbilisi, Georgia.
- 2016: graduated from the Medical University “Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov” (Varna, Bulgaria), master's degree in public health and health management.
- 2007: graduated from Donetsk National Medical University named after M. Gorky, specialty - Medical and Preventive Healthcare
Professional experience
- 2007-2009: head of the department of municipal hygiene of the Nakhimov district sanitary and epidemiological station in Sevastopol.
- 2009-2010: doctor of municipal hygiene of the Sevastopol city sanitary and epidemiological station.
- 2010-2012: head of the organizational department of the Sevastopol city sanitary and epidemiological station.
- 2012: researcher at the laboratory of epidemiology of parenteral viral hepatitis and HIV infection of the state institution “Gromashevsky Institute of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine”.
- 2012-2017: head of the Center for monitoring and evaluating the implementation of program measures to counteract HIV/AIDS of the state institution “Ukrainian Center for control of socially dangerous diseases of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine”.
- Since 2014: resident of the seventh cohort of the South Caucasus program of Applied Epidemiology and laboratory (SC-FELTP, Georgia).
- Since 2014: post-graduate student of the laboratory of epidemiology of parenteral viral hepatitis and HIV infection of the state institution “Gromashevsky Institute of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine”.
- 2017, March: appointed as deputy general director for coordination of program activities and strategic development of the state institution “Center for Public Health of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine”.
- 2018, May: appointed as deputy general director of the state institution “Center for Public Health of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine”.
- December 2019: appointed as acting director of the state institution “Center for Public Health of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine”.
- February 2021: appointed as deputy general director of the state institution “Center for Public Health of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine”.
- May 2021: elected as vice-president of the European network of the International Association of National Institutes of Public Health (IANPHI)
He is the National Contact Person of surveillance in Ukraine to the European epidemiological surveillance system – TESS. He is a member of the European Tuberculosis Research Initiative (ERI – TB, EURO-WHO, Copenhagen), the International Aids Society (IAS), the European Society for dirofilariasis and angiostrongillosis, the European Respiratory Society, the International Society for Disease Surveillance, The European Society for Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, the Eurasian Coalition for Men's Health (ECOM), the Alliance for sustainable sanitation, the European Clinical Society Against AIDS (EACS), the World Association for the promotion of Veterinary Parasitology, the American Society for Tropical Medicine and hygiene, network of collaborators of Global Burden of Disease, the European Biosafety Association (EBSA).
He is a member of the Scientific Council of the project “Joint actions against HIV/ TB/HCV in European regions” (https://www.euresist.org/care), member of the EUPHA-IDC Group - the EUPHA section on infectious diseases control and the international infectious disease research initiative (ID-IRI).
