Contracts for almost UAH 126.4 million for the purchase of 43 ambulances were signed for funds collected through UNITED24
According to the decision of the commission on the distribution of funds to meet the needs of healthcare, Medical Procurement of Ukraine has signed contracts for the purchase of 43 ambulances with a total cost of UAH 126,385,000.00 for medical institutions for funds collected through the UNITED24 fundraising platform.
In total, 133 units have already been purchased. These are ambulances of Type C, equipped with everything necessary to transport the seriously wounded.
“For eleven months of a full-scale war, about 400 ambulances have been destroyed/damaged. Meanwhile, attacks on medical institutions and ambulances continue. And our doctors continue to respond to calls everywhere. Therefore, new ICU ambulance vehicles are an important need!”- says Mariia Karchevych, Deputy Minister of Health for digital development.
It should be recalled that most ambulances purchased with funds collected through UNITED24 are already saving the lives of Ukrainians.
