“Today we’re correcting planning medical reform mistakes made by the previous management of the MOH.

A detailed medical infrastructure examination is being conducted. The purpose of the examination is to determine the capacity and efficiency of the hospital network.  With the help of scientists and leading experts, The Ministry has started developing and approving new state standards for medical care.”- said the Minister.

According to the Minister, the Ministry of Health will develop fair tariffs based on received data, which will be used for the industry fundings in 2021.

"The new tariffs will be based on the market wages for workers and quality standards for medical services."- said Maxim Stepanov. The Minister emphasizes that new fair tariffs will be applied from 2021.

“From 2021, financing will be based on the fact that we need to reform medicine so that highly specialized medical institutions can operate in conditions for their development. When they are developed, the level of medicine will increase. Our main goal is to create an effective medical system, where doctors work in decent conditions and receive a decent salary, and patients receive quality care”, - the  Minister concluded.
