UNICEF delivers neonatal ambulances for 20 perinatal centres in Ukraine The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has procured and delivered 20 neonatal ambulances for newborns to Ukraine in response to the initiative by the Office of the First Lady of Ukraine and the Ministry of Health. These ambulances are supplied with newborn intensive care equipment that provides emergency care to mothers and babies on the road.

The French experts will share their experience on how their national regulatory system monitors compliance with EU requirements for medicines in practice, and will provide recommendations on specific steps that the Ministry of Health should take in the status of a candidate country. The first such meeting is scheduled for the end of August.

Procurement of goods and medical devices supports medical institutions in difficult times and enables hospitals to save money.

Some of the contracted goods have already been shipped to medical institutions this year for more than UAH 325.5 million.
