Ukrainian mental health and rehabilitation specialists learn from the experience of Polish colleagues The first two groups of Ukrainian specialists - psychologists, psychiatrists, and rehabilitation therapists - have just returned from Poland, where they completed a five-day professional internship in the field of mental health and rehabilitation. The goal of the project is to strengthen the professional training of Ukrainian healthcare workers with the experience of Polish colleagues in the rehabilitation of wounded and the treatment of war-related stress disorders.

Another 15 ambulances will be purchased for funds raised through UNITED24 In accordance with the decision of the commission on the allocation of funds to meet the needs of healthcare, Medical Procurement of Ukraine has signed contracts for the purchase of 15 ambulances with a total value of UAH 40,500,000 for the needs of the medical sector for funds raised through the UNITED24 fundraising platform.
These are C-type vehicles - a kind of mobile intensive care units. They are equipped with everything that is necessary: oxygen cylinders, cardiac monitors, defibrillators, electrocardiographs, artificial lung ventilation devices, etc. This equipment can be used to save a person in case of cardiogenic shock, provide assistance during childbirth, perform resuscitation, provide general anesthesia, primary surgical treatment of wounds, etc.

Ratification of the protocol will provide additional grounds for harmonizing Ukrainian legislation with EU legislation in the field of combating illegal trafficking in tobacco products.

USD 10 million grant agreement was signed to restore the medical sector The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a draft order of the President of Ukraine to sign a grant agreement in the amount of USD 10 million to provide funding for the project “Strengthening the healthcare system and saving life” (Heal Ukraine). Of these, USD 5 million will be used to improve the processes of providing rehabilitation and mental health services. Another USD 5 million will be spent on restoring the provision of medical services in hospitals affected by the war.

Shocking statistics: for more than 14 months of war, russia damaged or destroyed more than 1,400 medical facilities Since the first day of the full-scale war, russia has continued to strike at Ukraine's medical infrastructure. The enemy systematically destroys hospitals, outpatient clinics, maternity hospitals and polyclinics. Since the full-scale invasion, russian missiles and shells have destroyed 177 medical facilities and damaged another 1,256 facilities. This was stated by First Deputy Minister of Health Serhii Dubrov during the national telethon.
