Medical institutions located in the temporarily occupied territories can apply for it, in accordance with the order of the Ministry of regional integration.

Ukraine has updated the standards of medical care for tuberculosis Ukraine was the first country in the European region to bring national health standards in the case of tuberculosis in line with WHO recommendations 2022. On 19 January 2023, the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine No. 102 approved the standards of medical care “Tuberculosis”. The standards were developed with the active participation of specialists from the Center for Public Health.

In 2022, Ukrainian doctors performed 20% more organ transplants than in pre-war 2021 384 organ transplants were performed by Ukrainian doctors in 2022, increasing the number of operations by 20% compared to even pre-war 2021. According to the results of 2022, the level of vaccination coverage in Ukraine remains below the recommended level by the World Health Organization.

Check Point, a unique model for restoring mental health for those affected by the war, was presented in Ukraine Today, specialists of the Lisova Poliana Center for mental health and rehabilitation of veterans of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine presented a unique model of mental health recovery "Check Point" for survivors of traumatic events. The event was held as part of the initiative of first lady Olena Zelenska to create a national program of mental health and psychosocial support. The presentation was attended by representatives of the first lady's office, Minister of Health Viktor Liashko, and director of the USAID Mission in Ukraine James Hope, defenders of Ukraine, representatives of international organizations, civil society, and socially responsible businesses.

The Government has established basic guarantees of the minimum wage for medical professionals for 2023 The government has established financial guarantees for medical professionals. In 2023 the minimum wage for a doctor, pharmacist and rehabilitation specialist is not less than UAH 20,000, and for a nurse is not less than UAH 13,500. This is only the minimum wage guaranteed by the state for medical professionals.

More than 600 generators will be installed in Ukrainian hospitals Ukrainian medical institutions will receive generators from the UAE. 640 generators of various capacities are distributed among medical institutions of the capital and oblast, as well as hospitals operating in the frontline and de-occupied regions - Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts.
