The Team of the Ministry of Health Visited the Exhibition of the Art Project “ArtBronya” On 22 December Minister of Health Viktor Liashko and his deputies visited the exhibition of the art project “ArtBronya”, which gives a second life to plates of bulletproof vests that stopped bullets and saved the lives of soldiers. The main goal of the project is to raise funds for the purchase of protective equipment for defenders of Ukraine, such as bulletproof vests, helmets, headphones, gloves, glasses, suits for sappers, etc. The foundation operates under the auspices of the President of Ukraine.

UNICEF delivers vaccines against tuberculosis, diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, hepatitis B and Hib to Ukraine The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has delivered 190,000 doses of the BCG vaccine against tuberculosis to Ukraine, as well as 60,000 doses of the combined vaccine for the prevention of pertussis, diphtheria, tetanus, hepatitis B and hemophilic infection type b (Hib) (with a whole-cell pertussis component). Ukraine received the vaccines free of charge as humanitarian aid.

More Than 15 Thousand Studies of Newborns for 21 Rare Diseases Have Been Conducted Since October in Ukraine Since October Ukraine has been introducing advanced neonatal screening – a comprehensive examination of newborns to detect rare congenital and hereditary genetic diseases. To date, more than 15 thousand studies have already been conducted on the basis of two regional neonatal screening centers – the National children's specialized hospital "Okhmatdyt" and the Lviv regional clinical perinatal center.
