With the support of the Polish government, Ukraine received seven modular temporary accommodation points for emergency medical teams within the framework of the Polish Aid project. Five of them are already operating in different regions of the country.

This, in particular, was mentioned during the meeting of the leadership of the Ministry of Health with Deputy Speaker of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland Malgorzata Gosejewska. Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Liashko expressed great gratitude to the Polish government for the strong support of Ukraine in the most difficult times and Ms. Deputy Speaker for her personal active participation in the implementation of the joint project.

“Poland has been and remains a reliable partner and ally of Ukraine. Once again, we have received powerful assistance and support from the Polish government and people. And we are eternally grateful for such solidarity with the Ukrainians, despite the most difficult time,” Viktor Liashko said. “Another powerful example of such support is the transfer of mobile points for hosting emergency medical teams to us. This is especially true for regions close to the zone of active armed hostilities, because it is there that doctors of emergency mobile teams are the first to come to the rescue and very often are the only source of medical care for residents.”

Modular points for emergency medical teams are equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay of paramedics: there is heating, electricity, shower and toilet rooms, recreation room, etc. Now such modular points have already been delivered to the de-occupied territories of Kharkiv region. Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson oblasts each received the point to replace damaged or destroyed base points.

In the near future, 5 more modular outpatient clinics will arrive in Ukraine.

It should be recalled that previously, modular structures of emergency medical teams’ bases have already appeared in the liberated Izium with the support of the Polish government.
