EU4Health grant budget for non-governmental organizations in 2023 amounts to almost EUR 20 million Applications from non-governmental organizations under the EU4Health program were launched on 15 June. This year, 12 open calls for proposals have been announced to finance initiatives and programs in the following areas: equal access to health care, mental health, non-communicable diseases, oncology, and medical equipment. The total budget of the open calls is EUR 19,960,000.

A nationwide campaign to vaccinate children against measles starts in Ukraine - Ihor Kuzin As part of the campaign, on the eve of the new school year, doctors, and mobile vaccination teams will vaccinate children who have missed vaccination due to war or other circumstances. To this end, regional campaign plans have been developed and adopted, regional coordinators have been identified. Health care facilities, vaccination centers, and mobile vaccination teams have been involved in the “cleaning round” of immunization, which will conduct field sessions in camps and remote locations in the oblasts.

The European Union allocates over EUR 4.6 million to Ukraine for healthcare projects under the EU4Health program A year after the signing of the agreement between Ukraine and the European Union on Ukraine’s participation in the EU4Health program, the Ministry of Health has applied for participation in 9 projects. The European Commission approved Ukraine’s participation in them and confirmed more than EUR 4.6 million in total funding for their implementation.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukraine has received 12.8 thousand tons of medical humanitarian aid worth over UAH 13.5 billion During the period of martial law, Ukraine has received a total of 12,800 tons of medical humanitarian aid worth over UAH 13.5 billion. The aid came from 35 countries, international and partner organizations, Ukrainian and foreign businesses, and directly from medical institutions in other countries.
